This is a brass oil lamp made in France around 1885. That is when this was patented as a unique lamp that was invented by Charles Pigeon and burned mineral spirits. There is an engraved label on the front of the lamp that is partially worn. This intersting French brass bracket lamp is with offered here with a "Buy It Now".
