Antique Blouse 1910 Shirt With Cinched Waist Small Womens Historical Clothing T

It is a heavyweight fabric with ecru ground and ink blue pinstripes. The shirt snaps closed with a cinched waist and a hook and eye closure at the waist only. It is a very heavy material- I imagine it would be quite warm although it is not particularly soft. It is smooth to the touch but there is a stiffness to it! The sleeves are 3/4 sleeves with a long cuff. The waist cinches in creating a lovely silhouette and there are pleats down the back. There is a tie on the inside of this textile for extra fastening security. The collar is a floppy beige linen with a rounded collar. I believe this textile was stitched by hand! An absolutely gorgeous piece! Lovely for hanging as a decorative textile or for wearing! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately: Chest: 17 inches laid flat, 32 inches around Waist: 13 inches laid flat, 26 inches around Shoulder to shoulder: 14 inches Sleeves: 16 inches from underarm seam to cuff Length: 18 inches CONDITION: This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are some rust marks as well as a larger mark on the back as pictured. The snaps and hook and eye are beginning to rust but still work!
