Description: Antique Beethoven Piano Lamp JRVHL 1932 J. RUHL J.B. HIRSH France This lamp features Beethoven between two lamps. August Moreau designed the base, and Jon Ruhl designed the figures. It would have had one shade spanning the lamp posts. Lamp is in pristine condition, note on bottom shows it was rewired in 1960, it does function but the insulation is getting stiff, I would rewire before extended use, I think it would look wonderful with new woven cloth wrapped wire. Very nice high quality lamp, I only found 2 others currently for sale online.
