Description: This antique six-piece Austrian plate set features a stunning rose pattern with white background, pink, green, blue and gold roses and buds. The plates are made of ceramic and porcelain, with a glossy finish, and have a scalloped edge. The set includes 6 small plates that are 5 inches in diameter and weigh 20 oz. Total when boxed. Hand wash only, these plates are from the early 20th century (1911-1940) and are original and decorative. The plates have a romantic rose theme, are stackable, and have a round shape. They would make a great addition to any collection of dinnerware and serveware. As with antique items, minor signs of wear are common. Two of the plates have an incised back stamp that appears to be 1001. A couple of the plates have some dark spots that are under glaze. One plate has a hairline crack which extends to the back as seen in the photographs. All are quite beautiful and delicate. They are in otherwise good condition.
