Description: Antique Austrian Majolica Secessionist Style Asparagus Plate 8 1/2" #2 Here is a very attractive and unusual antique Austrian majolica Secessionist style asparagus plate. It measures about 8 1/2" in diameter. It is in excellent condition overall but does have a superficial glaze flake to topside outer edge less than 1/16" across and a superficial flake to underside outside edge about 3/8" long (not visible from top side.) There are no other chips or cracks. Plate has had some relatively light use and there are some scattered areas of superficial glaze wear visible on close examination. It is marked on the back side with impressed "Austria" and "4918" as well as some pencil notations. Looks great. Please see photos.
