Description: All of these feet are in excellent condition, especially considering their age. Each claw foot is heavy, each weighing in at 8.2 oz. Made of thick cast iron, and each is 4" long; the inside of the top piece measures 1" - that is the size of the table leg that can be inserted and used. It appears there used to be a brass or copper finish, much of which has been lost to time. The front of each foot offers an art nouveau design with the look of a bird tail (to me lol!). That actually fits with the simple claw design. The flowing design shows Victorian flair. The most beautiful part of these are the glass balls. (See photos). I don't know if they are meant to be these colors, or they have changed due to age. There are smudges on the balls from moving along the floor. There is one chip on one foot. I have also pointed to any flaws I saw in the production of the original glass (See photos). Lots of bubbles in each ball.
