Description: Classic Art Deco stamped steel single keyhole escutcheon. It is straight and in good structural conditions but cosmetically the original brass plated finish is mostly worn off. It was given a light clear coat to help protect against rusting. The clear will serve as a good base coat for whatever color you choose. I does have a very smooth finish so with a nice spray it will look like new. Remember this is 100+- years old and will NEVER/EVER be absolutely perfect.
