This motif of an extreme delicacy recalls the interior cupola of the mosque and could evoke the Paradise of Allah. In the border, shields and arabesques are festooned on a bed of flowers. This admirable carpet in truly decorative tradition is still a sign of high distinction in the interior of a house. This is a well made, high quality carpet.
