Description: Here is a small antique A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W. Va. tophat stoneware jar. It measures about 6 inches tall and about 4 3/4 inches in outside diameter at opening. It has some flaws. The top outside rim has a tight hairline crack that divides into 2 hairline cracks going about 2 3/8 long and stopping. See photos. To the left of that is about a 1 inch chunk of missing stoneware just below the rim. The top rim has numerous small chips on interior rim opening. The jar has expected small imperfections found in most antique stoneware jars but nothing at all bothersome. That's the extent of the damage and I see no further issues or repairs. Overall still a pretty nice and scarce little jar. Please see ALL enlarged photos for best idea of condition of the item as these are a part of the description.
