Description: Antique Anglo Indian Hunting Tiger & Elephant 950 Silver Tea Caddy Box Marked LM The underside of the lid is marked LM T95. The LM is a makers mark and the T95 represents a silver purity of .950. The underside has an etched mark. The body of the box depicts what appears to be a tiger or similar big cat that is hunting different types of animals. The top shows the tiger being attacked by an elephant. Weighs 4.5 ozt total. Measures 3" in height and is 3" in diameter. The box is in great condition with just a few small dents to underside along with a split to the top rim of the box that is covered when the lid is in place. The split may be original to the piece because it is where two pieces of metal join to form the top rim. Lid closes tight on box as intended.
