Description: Antique ANGELUS Quarter Repeater Chronograph Movement with Porcelain Dial, being Sold as They are to be Restored, or useful as Spares (please check description and photographs for details). Made in Switzerland Movement: Hand-winding stem, with Chronograph and Quarter Repeater features. Gold tone. 22 lignes. Screw balance. Breguet hairspring. Number engraved on front: 54615.Original winding stem and crown at 3, setting lever at 4, repeater function lever at 6, and chronograph lever at 2 o’clock. Dial: White porcelain. Black Arabic hour numerals. Outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic numerals at 5 minutes. Subsidiary seconds at 6. Signed. Dimension: Movement: 49.5 millimeters diameters. Dial: 50 millimeters diameters. Condition: Movement: As mentioned, this timepiece is being sold as it is, so beside dirtiness and some rusty on levers and wheels, these are some other issues we have found: Balance Wheel moves smoothly, but mechanism does not work by itself. Beside this, Crown is over-wound, stuck at the end, but Mainspring is in good condition. Setting lever actions, but as there is No Minute Wheel, it is not possible to set the time. Chronograph lever responds and executes the three positions: Start, Stop, Reset. About the Repeater, hammers sound for hour and quarters when you move the lever manually, but as there is a missing part (Wheel, lever, or spring), the repeater function does not work by itself.
