Description: This Alexanderwerk red #12 bolt down style grinder shows its age. With many chips on the red body,and some wear on the inner white enamel body and auger. Comes with extra grinding plate and stuffer tube The body is marked SS on one side of the throat and 12 on the other.The threaded cap on the front is marked with an S.I'm not sure of the age of this German made Alexanderwerk grinder mincer.It looks like a small build up repair was done on the auger where the handle slides on. The body is about 6" long not including handle, throat opening is 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inchesit stands 6 1/2" tall, and weighs over 8lbs Please see pictures as part of description more available on request Please check out my other grinder that is very much the same as this one but is unbranded. This one is marked Alexanderwerk in the arch, where as the other one has nothing in the arch, which is a bit higher. It could be an earlier version.Comparison photo included.
