Description: A beautiful fine old Afghan tribal flatweave kilim rug / carpet with an unusual eye stimulating chevron design. Hand-woven wool with intricate details and warm natural colors of pink, orange, purple, red, cream and a stunning pink salmon background field. Early 20th c, Afghanistan. It measures approx: 58" inches wide x 104" inches long. In very good condition. No holes or repairs. There is some bleeding on the cream border in a few areas. There is a 3 in area on the fringe of one end that needs repair. (please see photo).One side has 4 small areas on the edge that need repair. (please see photos).There is a small spot that looks slightly faded. (please see photos). Overall a gorgeous, collectible rug that will brighten up any room.
