Description: Stunning and elegant wine/water goblet, in the rare China Aster pattern by Hawkes. Featuring tall stem and beautifully cut crystal, the Chrysanthemum motif is one of the finest American brilliant cut designs of the early 20th century. China Aster is part of the Hawkes Gravic line, the pinnacle of American glass cutting. Great condition. Minor use marks and minor scratches but nothing notable. To the best of my knowledge circa 1930s-1950s. Measures: 7.5” high by apps 3 1/2 inches diameter. Marked HAWKES on the top edge of the base.
