Description: Antique Victorian 9ct Karat Gold, Diamond, & Turquoise Mourning Brooch with Hallmarks Please *READ* Below for Condition *READ* There is one diamond missing as shown in pictures. These types of brooches often had a seal on the back to protect the placement of a small lock of hair. That backing appears to be missing. In all other ways it is in wonderful condition for its age. The pin is tight and straight. There are some typical light surface scratches and I did not attempt cleaning the gems or the gold. Please see video to show the diamond test results on the Presidium Gem Tester. Further Details: This small, but lovely brooch is beautifully scrolled and engraved with a flower and leaf design. It also has a turquoise cabochon set into a center flower surrounded by a gold rope design.Embossed on the back is the numbers "9" and "375" with additional hallmarks as shown in photos.
