An antique photograph ca. 9 ½” x 7 ½” on the original mount which is ca. 14” x 11” and is blind stamped Personius, 137 Water St., Elmira, N.Y. A striking large scale image by an important early Elmira, NY, photographer, George A. Personius (1871-1949), who began his career in the 1890s and subsequently opened a studio on Water St. before relocating to Baldwin St. This image is clearly marked with the address of Personius’ first studio at 137 Water St. Very good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use.
