Description: I purchased this lamp from an antique store in Monroe, WI back in 1995. I am not sure of the age but from how it looks I would have to guess that this was made in the 1970's. It appears to be from a limited run as it is stamped "#10". There are other markings on the lamp but even after much research, I was unable to find much info on it. My old lady thinks that this may be the ugliest lamp she has ever seen, so I have been told it has to go. The lamp has three different lighting options. There is actually a smaller bulb inside the lamp that lights up the eyes of the owls. You can turn on just the main bulb, or just the small internal bulb, or have both going at the same time. Each owl has some character as well. One owl is pretty much a standard owl. The second owl has a small chip under one of the eyes that makes it look like it may be crying (possibly due to my old lady's harsh comments). And the third owl apparently took some time off of lamp duty to be a pirate, because he lost one eye in what I must assume was a horrific and bloody battle. This lamp and I have been through a lot together, and I hate to see it go, but ya gotta keep the old lady happy ya know. This lamp needs to go to a good home, where it can be proudly displayed and given the chance to light up another life, just as it did mine for so many years.
