Description: Antique 19th Century Louis XVI Silverplate Picture Frame 13 X 17 Sheffield. Marks on the top “933” and some gothic letters and characters. I haven’t been able to identify the marks, but I think they are English. About 13” x 17” in dimension and opening for photo is 11” x 14” Perfect for a cherished family wedding or anniversary photo. In my opinion the velvet back and glass plate are original to the frame. The glass has some chips along the edges which are covered by the frame. The ribbon has separated from the easel but is still attached and the frame has no trouble standing up on its own. Please review the photos to ascertain appearance and condition.
