The color of the porcelain matches the colors of the flowers and leaves which it is iridescent. I purchased this vase in an estate sale. I don't have the history of the piece, but upon my research it matches from the 19th Century vases. It is marked at the bottom V- 101. The vase is heavy and the flowers and leaves are well applied. In very good Antique conditions. No crazings, no cracks, no repairs, and no fadings on the gold trimmings are noted. Maybe some little chips on some of the flowers I missed.
