This piece is not only well done, it is also signed by its artist- A most unusual but welcome change from the normal. It was done by Lizzie L Staman in Smithfield Ohio, 1881- based on another work from the same estate bearing the same signature. It features a lovely poem dedicating to a dear friend. It also features multiples fonts of gorgeous flowing script in a strong hand, and a hand drawn border. The signature, which is done twice on the margin, is also very fancy. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor It is in good condition, with no major damage. It is matted to a board via some kind of non intrusive wrap.
