We are unsure as to the leaflet’s exact age but are fairly certain that it dates back to the mid to late 1920s. The leaflet is marked in part as follows: RUTLAND PATCHING PLASTER. FOR SMALL BREAKS. JUST ADD WATER AND USE. FOR POINTING BRICKS AND PATCHING STUCCO. FOR PROFESSIONALS OR AMATEURS. SETS SLOWLY. MANUFACTURED BY RUTLAND FIRE CLAY CO. RUTLAND, VERMONT. The leaflet is illustrated with descriptions. The leaflet measures roughly 6 1/4” x 3 1/4”. This leaflet was removed from within an advertising scrapbook that has kept it in good condition for roughly the last 100 years. The leaflet does have aging, yellowing, edge wear, scratches, wrinkles and/or crease marks, and manufacturing/printing imperfections. TThe item was attached to the scrapbook page using two circular tabs (half of each tab was adhered to the page and the other half was adhered to the back of the item). This created a hinge-like effect that made it possible to still see the material in its entirety. Part of both of these circular tabs are still adhered to the back of the leaflet (see pictures). The leaflet appears to be free of any rips, tears, or missing pieces.
