Description: This is an antique circa 1920s Art Deco color plate/print from the scarce German portfolio series titled "Dekorative Vorbilder." Printed on heavy paper with quality inks. There is nothing on the reverse. 10" x 14". This portfolio represented a vast array of styles including Art Deco, art nouveau and Asian influence, machine age, German modernism, Bauhaus, and the Wiener-Werkstatte style. These graphics were designed by artisans for various art work like wallpaper, murals, stenciling, pottery decoration, painted furniture etc. They were used as samples/instructional drawings for artists, painters, graphic designers, and architects. We have several of these in our eBay store and most of them are in excellent condition (a few are in very good condition) except for a few light dents and some light edge wear; a few have some light edge darkening and a few have some light water stains on an edge and/or an occasional edge tear. Please see photo for more details on condition. Due to the length, this will be shipped rolled to keep the shipping cost down.
