Description: We are pleased to present an antique Mission style wall sconce, 11.5" tall x 3.75" wide x 3.5" projection from wall. Unsigned. There is a beautiful piece of marbled green slag glass (visible size is about 8.25" x 2.125"; total size is about 8.75" x 2.25") inserted in the back. The sconce is very nice, but shows some evidence of use and age to the bottom half. There is some wax around the candlecup and drip tray, with some losses to the patination and some rust spots. The candlecup is brass (showing naked brass there with losses to the patination from wax and heat) but the rest of the sconce is magnetic (hence the rust). Overall, a very nice period piece.
