The covers are good with some slight wear and rubbing, a few of the covers have edgewear and splitting along hinge joint. The spine ends are good, some have some heavier chipping, fraying and light wear on few, some minor darkening or soiling on the spines. Volume 9 has heavier wear and flapped edge. The boards and corners are nice with some minor denting and wear. The hinges and binding are tight and strong, Volume 10 has heavier spine wear and back cover is loose. The handsome volumes internal pages are bright and clean with some very minor foxing from age, bookplate on inside front cover of each, slightly dusty from long storage, a nice set.
