Description: Found at the local estate of a well known antique collector and limoges lover, here is a 9 3/4" decorative or serving plate by Jean Pouyat of France. It is handpainted with golden baskets of pink roses accented with tiny blue flowers. Embossed rim trimmed in gold. Mark is dated with 1908. It is in excellent condition with no wear to the gold, no chips, cracks or crazing. There are a few utensil scratches that can be seen when tilted in the light. Will be a gorgeous addition to your turn of the century items. I have other exquisite hand painted decorative plates and lots of Haviland limoges from this same estate in other listings. Take a look!
