We were told this was Western Electric but see no evidence of that. The guts work and gave us a small shock when touching it after cranking. Weighs approx 13.5 pounds at 11" x 9" x 7" (includes bells and hand crank). We have unscrewed the hand crank in order to ship it (is inside the phone box). Just insert and rotate to screw it back it.
