Description: See photos for condition. The Jambiya is in amazing condition for the age with the antique belt. The blade is 10 1/2” long. Total length unsheathed is 16”. Total length sheathed is 20 1/2” Antique early 18th century Jambiya blade with silver mountings from the early 19th century. The dagger is Persian wootz steel with real gold accents near the base of the blade. The gold accents spell out the date it was made. It was remounted in the early 19th century in solid silver. Remounting was common to see with these daggers because of change in status or keeping up with fashion. Package will be insured with USPS and have signature delivery.
