Description: Antique Elgin serial # 3739740. Seems to run well. Pendant winding OK. Only flaw I can find is that I am unable to use the winding crown to set time as should be the case for a pendant watch. I do not want to force the winding stem which seems not to move to a full setting location. To set time I have opened the front of the case and with care pressed slightly on the center arbor with a finger and turned the hands as one would if it had a key type connection. For its age I guess everything cannot be perfect. Otherwise dial not cracked and case has no serious dents. Some obvious wear. See photos. Clearly indicated as coin silver on case. Some rubbing of dial glass but no chips.
