Description: Antique 1877 PARAGON AUTOGRAPH ALBUM with INSCRIPTIONS - Milford NJ - Philadelphia PA - RARE 144 YEARS OLD!! Very rare antique PARAGON AUTOGRAPH ALBUM which dates to 1877 and made in USA. Entries are in beautiful cursive penmanship and very fancy sayings and wording. Many read like poetry and are written to Louisa. Quite a few entries are from those in Chicago and BarringtonIL. Dates are 1877 through 1883. Album cover is maroon color leather with embossed gilt gold design. Pages have gold leaf edges. Overall condition good, better than one might expect of a leather and paper item that is 144 years of age. Small piece of leather torn at bottom of spine as shown in the pic. Pages are very good condition. Some of the ink inscriptions are starting to fade. Book measures about 8 x 5.
