Description: This auction is for an extremely rare antique framed 1798 C.B. Julien panoramic view of New York City. Titled A view of the City of New York from Brooklyn Heights in 1798 by Monsieur C.B. Julien de St. Memin with a Pantograph invented by himself . The original print shows a lot of creases, wear, and discoloration. Appears to have been folded up accordion style . The print itself measures approx. 50 inches long x 5 inches tall ( could be a little bigger, hard to say with the border). The frame measures approx. 55 3/4 inches x 10 3/4 inches tall.
