Description: Scarce early original vintage ambrotype shows a cute brother and sister posing for their formal portrait. They are posed next to a plush bent wood chair. Image comes in a half case with ornate matte and preserver. Unusual Image was taken on double weight glass and combined with top piece of double weight glass housed underneath the matte and preserver. Photograph measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches and is in very good condition. There is some degrading of the image at bottom left side(see scan).The image is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
