Description: For sale is an authentic Antique 1620s continental European Brass Mid Drip Pan Candlestick. You can find a very similar form in Brass Book P162B as a Reference. The book dates the piece to 1625 Italian (I include a picture of the Brass Book for your reference) This candle stick does indeed feel 400 years old. It is an incredibly heavy piece of brass as is often the case with very old brass items. The bottom or foot of the candlestick also reveals it's very old age. The code written on the bottom is likely a museum's inventory code. The cup and drip pan are loose, but sit stable when it's not being handled. It is a very large specimen. 6" base 12.5" tall. Small dents or micro-scratches to be expected with it's age, please check the pictures carefully before purchasing. Check out my other antique and collectible listings.
