Description: Another piece saved from the smelter. This is a wonderful Art Deco solid 14K white gold pocket watch case. (no movement or crystal). This case is an Elgin Giant and from my measurements is a size 10. The bezel snaps close tight and secure. The edges have a wonderful engraved design that is carried on to the bow and pendant. The back has an engine turned pattern and a cartouche monogramed J.R. In very good condition for age and use. There are 2 small dings to the back of the case that should be easily sorted. One section of the hinge shows some wear but the rest is robust and steadfast. Total weight is 14.6 grams.A super case waiting for a good working movement.
