Description: Welcome to my ebay store This is a sweet black and white calico print dress and poke bonnet made for an approx 13" tall china head doll. It can adapt wonderfully for a wood doll such as a penny wooden, Grodnertal doll etc. See the photos please, I model it on my 13" Flat top china head doll and its a near perfect fit except a bit snug at neck. I added a matching piece of pink silk ribbon at waist.The bonnet is in the early poke bonnet style so popular during the covered wagon era and even earlier but time tested for women during later era working on farms. Tiny buttons, lace trim at neck. I have sold a few Grodnertal/earlier penny woodens with similar styles in dresses and bonnets, people usually got these dolls with wood bodies and had to make clothing from their own dress fabric scraps so this seems a common style for those dolls.
