Description: Anitque Cast Iron Bull Dog Nut Cracker. Vintage auction find. History unknown. He weighs a whopping 4lbs 12oz. He has a nice long tail giving good leverage for those hard to crack nuts. Overall length is 12in, 5.5in tall. He has 38 stamped into his tail. Red felt bottom is still intact but not as beautiful as it once was. Alot of these old nutcrackers felt bottom is long gone, showing the screws holding the pup on. I would say minimal surface rust and alittle pitting on the base. See all photos. Needs a good oiling or painted. Great find!
