Description: You are looking at a 3 volume set of "ANIMATE CREATION "OUR LIVING WORLD" A NATURAL HISTORY". The author is the Rev. JG Wood. This book was revised and adapted to American Zoology by Joseph B. Holder M.D. Dr. Holder used the original text and added information to make it more scientifically accurate. The information is divided as follows: volume 1 Mammalia, volume 2 Birds and volume 3 Fishes and Reptiles. These volumes are wonderfully illustrated with many color plates, but the some of the Protective tissue is damaged or missing. The information is in reasonable condition for its age, but the covers of volumes 2 and 3 are significantly damaged as you can see in the pictures. These volumes were a significant contribution at the time so if the covers were repaired, they can make a nice addition to your collection of natural history books. You get what you see in the pictures so please look closely at all of the pictures and make sure that this is exactly what you want before you decide to make a purchase.
