Ángel Ramírez, es un artista cubano de una interesante y loable trayectoria artística vinculada al mundo del grabado y la pintura, su obra se caracteriza por asumir códigos diversos que incluyen iconos del medioevo para reformular nuevas historias, cargadas de conceptos extemporales. Para Angel es importante manipular la imagen por eso quebranta fronteras entre pasado y presente y le otorga especial atención a la forma, los recursos expresivos, la técnica, el soporte y la lectura que pudiera tener el interlocutor.
