Description: Indian Figurine Indian Figurine with lettering embossed on the front and back. On the front is displayed 47 - 72 and AHS. On the back shows FPC. No other marks indicating manufacturer or maker are visible. So I don’t know much about this statue but there is some Information here that may be helpful to anyone interested in this Indian figurine. First, I want to say that I have no sentimental attachment to this statue. It sat on my fathers bookshelf for all of my life. I will be very happy if it finds a good home. With that said, I would like to start with discussing the lettering on the statue. The letters AHS appear on the front. This may stand for AHS, as they had a mascot called “The Indian” until fairly recently. What’s more, my father did attend Anderson High School back in the day. I do now know what the dates mean, however my father was 17-18 in 1947 so that first date may have been his senior year. After that, I vaguely remember this was a gift from someone who also went to AHS. I hope this helps.
