Description: You will receive a healthy young Male/Female pair of ancistrus wabenmuster honeycomb pleco that was tank bred and raised here in the USA. They are great for controlling algae in your fish tank and look stunning while doing it! They are peaceful and easy to care for. Pictures are not of the exact one you will receive but they are my pictures from my stock. Fish will be about 3" in size and growing. Honeycomb Pleco Scientific Name: Ancistrus sp. Some adult females will have a few bristles near their mouth but not like their male counterparts. Ancistrus plecos are omnivores that eat both meaty foods as well as plant matter though they seem to eat more vegatation than meaty foods. They are generally safe for planted aquariums and stay smaller than most other pleco species. A staple food these are raised on are fresh vegetables including canned no salt added french cut green beans as well as fresh zucchini. They are also fed repashy and varied diet of wafers and pellets. Shipping is done through USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is done on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays after 1-2 day processing time (The livestock is fasted so the shipping water doesn't spoil). Holidays and/or bad weather may delay orders. Day/Night temperatures on entire route must be between 35°F and 95°F. You are responsible for ensuring the livestock is legal where you live. Live Arrival / DOA Guarantee We guarantee that as long as your livestock are delivered by the time that carrier specified they will arrive alive and healthy. The vast majority of the time this is the case however DOA's do happen occasionally. If the untimely event of an entire order being DOA please send 2 clear pictures showing the fish within the sealed bag within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt. Once you open the bag, the live arrival guarantee is void. We will either replace the order or refund the order cost minus the cost of shipping.
