A dignified man about age 100 and possibly a Revolutionary War veteran, sits in Southworth & Hawes’ iconic chair. From the Jack Naylor Collection (sold at Guernsey’s in October 2007, Lot 987: D82). Housed in a half case. Very sharp, see detail image. He resides in a 1/2 leather case. Professionally resealed with P-90 archival tape and new glass. Condition as seen including areas of tarnish, minor blemishes. Should be considered in excellent condition for its age.
