The wear should be VERY carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Some general/shelf/age wear along with... An elegant previous owner signature on the front paste down/inside front board, dated "19/1/24". An old bookstore blind stamp on the ffep/first blank page. The blind stamp is a circular indentation and while it contains no ink, can still be very clearly seen and felt on both sides of the page. Creases/rips/marks/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards. The wear is particularly egregious on the spine and near/along the edges. Marks/foxing/rips/chipping/wear to the pages. Varying in degrees but present on every page. Chipping/rips/wear along the edges of the pages. Marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages. A noticeable lean. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher.
