Description: Up for sale, a vintage Mullard XF4 EL34 tube (with worn Amperex Bugle Boy label). This tube shows a fair amount of use but still has some life to give. Most testers put anything past 50-60% GM into the "Good" or green column, this is just crossing the line at 65% GM. (I'm also listing a NOS RCA shortly that tests at 89% and is BRAND NEW from the box so while this isn't a test number to impress, it's definitely not ready for discard.) I'll wrap this in bubble wrap and include test results. My test rig is shown below for reference. I feed the tester with 116.4V sine power (my wall voltage is all over the map, frequently approaching 130V in the summer months). This allows for absolute consistency with testing and/or matching. All tests are run in Fixed Bias mode which produces the most conservative numbers. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured.
