The character, designed by Stewart Moskowitz and drawn by Roy Wilson (1939 - 2017), was turned into a 1986 feature animated film produced by Murakami Wolf Swenson and distributed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) and Paramount Pictures. Two pages; each 10.5" x 12.5"; on 3-hole punch animation paper; HB - p (presumed to be animation industry standard Hammermill Bond paper; as shown in watermark). The book's roller-skating rabbit had great aspirations... in anticipation of the 100th Anniversary season for the Statue of Liberty (aka Liberty Weekend... a major initiative taken in 1986 during the administration of President Ronald Reagan). Found within the animation archives of the project's storyboard artist, Roy Wilson (1939 - 2017). Roy Wilson would later go on to produce Goof Troop and several other classic Disney animated series from the 1990's... including work on TaleSpin, Duck Tales, and more. About Us Combined Shipping Available Saturday’s Toys and Collectibles was founded in 1994 by Southern California author and media historian, Dave Mason. Soon after eBay's launch the following year, Saturday's Toys was among the first online specialists to strategize in embracing this rapidly developing technology. Having delivered over 15,000 coveted treasures since that time, Saturday's Toys is pleased to partner with researchers and collectors throughout the globe. Today, online offerings of archival keepsakes are presented in celebration of the times that allow for family, friends and neighbors to join in memorable gatherings that nurture the strong connections that bind a community together. These treasures are affectionately represented by "Saturday's Toys." In that light we present our adopted motto (with a nod to the Sherman Brothers): "Oh, let's go fly a kite!"
