Description: From Mom and Dad's estate. Mom inherited this print from her father, Judge Benjamin H. Mead of Stamford, CT. My grandfather had the set of four and Mom got two of them when he passed away. They are in the original frames and we've never tried to clean or retouch them. They did incur smoke damage when there was a fire at my grandfather's home. The two dark strips coming down from the top represents the smoke damage, I believe. It does appear to be hand-colored.Based on what my mother said and the research I have done, they are originals. The print exclusive of margins measures 17" x 24". Framed it measures 24.75" x 30.5"I am not an art dealer and know nothing about historical prints, so am offering these for LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY. I want you to see this in person before you buy. (My husband and I do travel some so there is a possibility of meeting you outside of Illinois). We have just traveled home from the family farm in Connecticut with these prints so they now reside in Illinois.Feel free to ask questions. I have only a point-and-shoot camera for photography and it's difficult to get a good picture without a reflection off the glass. The final four photos were taken with my husband's phone with the flash.
