Framed under glass. Wear to frame. DESCRIPTION: This vibrant painting captures the complexity of geometric abstraction and the interplay of color theory. Two interlocked, three-dimensional cubes dominate the composition, each meticulously divided into smaller squares of vivid hues, ranging from deep blues and purples to bright yellows and oranges. The precision of the grid-like structure contrasts with the fluid transitions between colors, creating a dynamic tension. The red background enhances the saturation of the cubes, drawing the viewer’s eye to their intricate detail. The composition not only explores the mathematical elegance of symmetry but also evokes a sense of movement and transformation, as if the shapes are shifting within the frame. The golden frame adds a touch of classic refinement, juxtaposing the contemporary nature of the artwork. Signed “S.R.G. 72” (Sergio Rondon 1972) this piece reflects a masterful synthesis of form, color, and perspective, engaging viewers in its rhythmic vibrancy.
