As rare as can be, both the pattern on the fabric and the lovely child's costume! ~I LOVE this piece of art!~ This sweet clown costume I found in France and it dates from 1920-1930's , The sleeves are made of a light qauze and the body is cotton. There are snaps at the back ~ ~ ideal for framing or lovely too used as a wall hanging ~ it's wonderful Measurements: This textile measures approximately 25 inches long ( not including the 6.5 inch long ankle gauze) 30 inches around the waist and chest The balloon legs are about 21 inches around at the widest) Condition: This lovely textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are light signs of time and use, some age marks ~ but generally it has survived in wonderful condition ~ EFF 132
