Description: This desk top air plane looks very similar to a "de Havillan" style, commonly seen with water floats/snow skis in Alaska?? But it is actually a copy of the Howard DGA-6 pioneer racing plane nicknamed "Mister Mulligan. The Mulligan was a one only plane built in 1934 designed to win the Bendix Trophy, which it did. This replica plane has zero damage or defects, BUT I have modified it. The nose of the plane was wide open, 3/4" diameter hole in front, looked like a jet engine intake?? Sooooo old slicky here epoxied a washer over the front hole, then ordered a 3 blade aluminum prop, epoxied onto the washer, prop is now solid, does not spin. Note: the original Mulligan had a 2 blade prop, all the small aluminum 2 blade props I could find were too small/wrong scale, sooooo I added a 3 blade prop that had the right proportions for the plane.
