In most instances, dye can be added up to 5% by weight, although you should always use the smallest amount to achieve the desired color. Consult instructions to learn what part (A or B) to add dye to. White, black, and fluorescent dyes are not completely transparent as they contain some filler. Used in small quantities, they do not affect the transparency of the piece. If used in higher percentages, they can add opacity to the cast piece. Translucent colors available at Woodcraft include: Green, Yellow, Red, Blue, Orange, Violet, and Ocean Blue.
