Description: Alps Japan Battery Dog Fido the Friendly Pup Original Box Not Work Vintage Toy This is a vintage "Alps" brand battery operated toy dog that is made in Japan. The box reads, " Fido the Friendly Pup"... "Non-stop Action". I tried a " C" battery in compartment and flipped the switch but the dog did not work. The box measures 7" x 4" x 4 7/8" tall. The dog measures 6 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 5" tall. The dog looks really nice and no corrosion in battery compartment. The faux fur is clean and item appears to be kept in box with little play wear. The box has a few minor dings but is clean and intact. My photos are of the actual item you are getting. See my store for other interesting vintage toys.
