Grace McDonald Green (1918 – 1999) was an singer, dancer and actress who starred in films in the early 1940s, mostly B movies. She and her brother Ray were a brother-sister dance team similar to the Astaires, and specialized in tap dancing. After a few years in Vaudeville they made their Broadway debut in 1937 in Babes in Arms stealing the show singing "I Wish I Were in Love Again". Other Broadway shows included One for the Money (1939), Very Warm for May (1939), and The More the Merrier (1941). Grace McDonald made her screen debut in Dancing on a Dime (1940) and appeared in Give Out, Sisters (1942), It Ain't Hay (1943), Hat Check Honey (1944), Destiny (1944), See My Lawyer (1945), and Strictly in the Groove in 1942. She also performed in films starring The Andrews Sisters, including What's Cooking (1942), Always a Bridesmaid (1943). Grace starred opposite Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in the comedy It Ain't Hay (1943). She also worked as a hostess at the Hollywood Canteen and entertained troops during tours of Army camps.
